Earlier this year, we reported about malicious accounts on social media impersonating Shou, Tora, and Saga from A9 (click here to read the original article, and click here to hear our discussion of it in podcast form). With your help, VKH and a few other partners in the industry were able to get the hashtag #ShowNotShou flying around the Internet to raise awareness about the imposter accounts. There have been a lot of things happening behind the scenes regarding this issue since then, so we'd like to give the fans an update. Glenda from TreasureBox PRESS (click here to check out her site) is one of our partners who has worked very hard in covering the #ShowNotShou events as they continue to unfold. She joins us tonight at our weekly stream time of 8:00 PM EST/5:00 PM PST to help us go through the findings and give our thoughts on the growing problem of social media impersonation in visual kei. We hope to see you there!
In case you missed it, VKH Press now has an official YouTube channel! You can check it out by clicking here. We will be uploading a lot of interesting content in the future, so make sure you subscribe! For now, we are uploading episodes of our podcast VKH Breakdown with improved audio and a visualizer of the episode's topics list (it's also currently available on Soundcloud, click here to listen!).
We also do live streams every Saturday evening on our YouTube channel. Make sure you join us to talk all things J-Rock and visual kei. We will be reading your comments in the chat, so feel free to ask us questions, give your thoughts on artists and events in the industry, or anything else you feel like saying! The exact time of these Saturday evening streams will vary from week to week, so make sure you follow us on Facebook (click here!) and Twitter (click here!) so you know what time to tune in!
