Interview with K from BORN

Next week, BORN will be heading to Europe for their two-man tour with Lycaon, THE RAMPAGE. This will be the band's first time in Europe! We ask K about the band's plans, what they're hoping to see from the fans, their music and more! Check out what K has to say...

VKH: How do you feel about your upcoming European tour?

K: We're crazy excited about it.

VKH: Will you be able to do some sightseeing while you are in Europe? What cities/countries are you most excited about to see?

K: Perhaps? If so, it would be France.

VKH: In 2010, you performed overseas in the United States. After playing there, what are you expecting from your overseas fans in Europe now?

K: We definitely want everyone to enjoy our music!

VKH: What was the craziest gift you ever got from an overseas fan?

K: There hasn't been anything incredibly strange.

VKH: How do you feel about touring Europe with Lycaon? Have you ever played with them at the same venue in Japan before?

K: We're excited to see what kind of tour it will be.

VKH: Your newest mini-album brings back a bit of the rawer sound you guys did in releases like BLACK DEAD MUZIC and Black Theory Mania, but with a little more polish. What inspired you to move back in that direction?

K: We felt like returning to our roots.

VKH: You've always personified and sound and style that is much rawer and more underground than many successful visual kei bands. What do you think it is that has allowed you to rise in popularity to a level that other bands with a similar sound could not?

K: We always pursue something we think is cool.

VKH: You lost a member quite a while ago. How has the band been able to adapt since KIFUMI left?

K: We've become even stronger as a band.

VKH: What are some of your future plans?

K: At any rate, we want to become bigger.

VKH: Please leave a message for your fans!
Thank you very much for taking your time to answer our questions!

K: We want the fans to come and be moved by BORN.

Special thanks to K (BORN) for answering our questions and to B7Klan for giving us this opportunity!
