REVIEW: ALSDEAD - FLASHBACK PV

After ALSDEAD new single came out June 11th the band pulled out a PV quickly after.
The PV isn't a theatrical one, but a video where get to see the band and their epic stage presence.

This song has one powerful intro. Nothing like an in your face intro with all of the instruments beating at one time, but this intro is a little different as it’s carried out. They give you a quick taste for about 3 seconds with the lead guitar only playing the riff, then goes into its intro fully after being signaled in with a drum fill and a sustained chord. Twist in this metal core like beginning though is the electronic vibe they have put in throughout the song. The electronic jabs they put in their song takes this while style to a different level.
As the song goes into its verse, the band seems to make sure that their vocalist is heard. The band does tend to keep you listening with their key changes and tempo changes but nothing to fully pull you attention away from the vocals.

The chorus comes around and it has your most average jrock sound. The poppy-ness that you find every once in a while in a jrock/visual kei song is what makes you know it is jrock; which is awesome because it is now known as the signature.

After going through the 2nd verse with the same sound as the first and also going through a chorus a 2nd time the band then moves into a small electronic break with no one in the band playing but the singer, before moving into an intense metalcore breakdown with the electronic effects and low screaming, then going into a melodic solo.

Going through the chorus a 3rd time with a few strung out phrases, the band then has its own outro sounding a bit like its breakdown it had earlier then fading out with the sound of the seconds’ hand on a clock.

Check out the video and see what you think of the new PV!
