This autumn, visual kei band Matenrou Opera will make its major debut with the record label KING RECORDS. This news was announced via the band's official website as well as band members' blogs.
Matenrou Opera also has announced on their website that they will be releasing two live DVDs on September 1st. The first one will be called Emergence from COCOON～Tour Document Film～ and will contain, as the title suggests, a documentary of the band's first one-man tour. The second one, Emergence from COCOON～Tour Final Live Film～"Birth of GENESIS", will include sixteen songs from their tour final, which took place at Shibuya C.C. Lemon Hall on May 6th. Their first nationwide one-man tour titled Emergence from COCOON will be their last indie tour and they will finish their activity on the indie scene with the concert that will take place in August. After that they will make their major debut under the new label.
On the official website, a message from the band members of Matenrou Opera assures fans that their sound will not change despite of label change.
