Aoi (the GazettE) Announces Endorsement Deal with S7G

After showcasing his sleek black Raven HL, the GazettE's rhythm guitarist Aoi has officially announced his new endorsement deal with Strictly 7 Guitars (S7G). The announcement comes following the dissolution of his longtime partnership with Japanese guitar manufacturer ESP (Electric Sound Products) last year.

Aoi used the Raven HL Std+7 HT/T and Raven HL JS7F during the recording of the band's monumental tenth album MASS. Both models will be sold in Japan though there are currently distribution delays for the Raven HL Std+7 HT/T (which is manufactured in the United States) due to the coronavirus. Order details for the Raven HL JS7F are available here.

Upon making the announcement, Aoi challenged fans on Twitter to compare the sound of these new guitars to the GazettE's older albums to see if they could hear the differences—while informing everyone that the JS7F model was used for the songs FRENZY and HOLD.

To commemorate the partnership, S7G has released a new signature pick designed by Aoi. The picks feature Aoi's family crest on one side with the GazettE's logo, Aoi's signature, and the S7G logo on the other.

The picks can be purchased individually or as a limited edition 20-piece set that comes with a specially designed pickcase.
