DIR EN GREY has announced the cancellation of both The Insulated World -The Screams of Alienation- shows—originally scheduled for July 23rd and 24th, 2020 at Pia Arena MM.
The band released the following statement regrading the cancellation,
We know many of you were looking forward to these shows, but we must say that music is expression, and that it is not possible for the band to bring you the best performance while following the preventive measure guidelines announced by the government. This is the reason behind the decision of cancel the shows.Refunds are being offered for both of the cancelled shows. Anyone who does not wish to have their tickets refunded will receive a copy of DIR EN GREY's new single 落ちた事のある空 (Ochita Koto no Aru Sora) in a special Pia Arena MM package for each ticket.
We deeply apologize for bringing such a sad news to the all of you who were looking forward to attend the shows, but we hope in your kind understanding.
VIP Ticket, Rubbish Box Ticket, and Exclusive Ticket holders who put in for the single (instead of a refund) will also receive the bonus gift that was originally supposed to be included with their ticket.
