Tekko 2019 is looking more and more impressive with each passing week! Recently, MYTH & ROID announced that they will now be attending the anime convention located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. They will be joined at Tekko 2019 by sleepyhead and Teddyloid.
For those of you who are unfamiliar with MYTH & ROID, they are a pop rock duo consisting of KIHOW on vocals and Tom-H@ck handling the production side. Some of you may know Tom-H@ck from his extensive work in the anisong industry, as well as from projects like OxT, who came to the U.S. in 2017 for the A-Kon anime convention in Fort Worth, Texas. MYTH & ROID uses sharp and catchy melodies, powerful vocal performances, and the elite production skills Tom-H@ck is known for to create a full-scale, international sound. They made their major debut in 2015 with their first single L.L.L. The song was made in collaboration with the OVERLORD anime series, and charted in the top 3 of multiple iTunes chart rankings when it was released. Since then, the group has continued to release music that mixes digital rock with innovative industrial rock sounds. Their songs have continued to be used as openings for multiple anime series including: BUBUKI/BURANKI, Re:Zero – Starting Life in Another World, and OVERLORD III.
If you'd like to get a taste of MYTH & ROID, you can check out the band's PV preview for their latest single 「shadowgraph」below. I've also added the full PV for "JINGO JUNGLE," my personal favorite song by MYTH & ROID below that!
