SPYAIR and ROOKiEZ is PUNK'D Will Tour the Americas and Europe Together + Latest Releases

Time for fans of SPYAIR and ROOKiEZ is PUNK'D to get hyped! Both bands announced last week that they are embarking on world tours in September. As part of those tours, the bands will making performances together in several countries across North/Central/South America and Europe. They will also each have their own solo performances in Asia.

The full list of the bands' tour dates for the Americas and Europe are listed below. Click on each date for links to get tickets! Then, scroll on for more information about each band and their latest releases.
After this, the two bands will separate and perform their own concerts for the Asia leg of the tour.  SPYAIR will play several stops in China: Guangzhou on November 7, Chengdu on November 9, Beijing on November 11, and Shanghai on November 24. Following that, the band will play in Hong Kong on November 15, Taichung, Taiwan on November 17 and in Seoul, South Korea on December 8. SPYAIR's tour will end with a series of performances in Japan: Osaka on December 13, Nagoya on December 17, and Tokyo on December 22.

Meanwhile, ROOKiEZ is PUNK'D will play multiple stops in Japan: Nagoya on November 10, Osaka on November 11, and Shibuya on November 17. Then, the band will perform in Taipei, Taiwan on December 1, Hong Kong on December 2, and Seoul, South Korea on December 15-16.

SPYAIR has been a powerhouse in the J-Rock music scene for over a decade now. The band is influenced by prominent western artists such as KORN, Linkin Park, and Michael Jackson, and mix elements of rock, pop, and electronic music to create their sound. Their music has seen widespread success in Japan: their last 4 albums have reached the top 10 of the Oricon album charts, with 3 of them breaking into the top 5. At the end of last month, the band released their latest single I Wanna Be…, the title track of which was used as the opening theme for the anime Gintama Shirogane no Tamashii-hen. For those of you unfamiliar with ROOKiEZ is PUNK'D, they are an alternative rock band who burst onto the music scene with their debut single "Complication" back in 2010 (which reached number one in downloadable tracks and 11th on the Oricon Weekly ranking). The band has had their music used in multiple anime series, including Durarara!!, Blue Exorcist, and Yowamushi Pedal. ROOKiEZ is PUNK'D will release their latest album The Sun Also Rises on September 12th.
