We have some unfortunate news for many visual kei fans: DADAROMA will be going on hiatus. The news comes in light of drummer Yusuke's difficult decision to leave the band. Yusuke will be leaving after the band's tour final at SIBUYA O-WEST on August 28th. He has been with DADAROMA since the band began activities three years ago. Together, they've put out nine singles, four mini-albums, a full-length album, and a live DVD.

According to Yusuke, he will be leaving DADAROMA and retiring from musical activities. The reason is that he is now suffering from a difficult condition called dystonia (specifically upper limb dystonia) on his right side. For those of you who are unfamiliar, dystonia is a movement disorder that causes a person's muscles in the affected area to twist involuntarily, which results in repetitive movements or abnormal postures. It appears from his statement that Yusuke is suffering from dystonia in his right upper arm. The drummer wants to finish his drumming career as Yusuke in a good condition, and wants to play his best in the few remaining live performances he has.
