As we approach the end of the first half of 2018, we decided it would be a good idea to look back at the current state of J-Rock. So on the next episode of VKH Live, we will be doing a sort of "state of the union" on everyone's favorite music genre. Join us this Saturday (tomorrow) at our regular time slot of 8:00 PM EST/5:00 PM PST as we go over the most notable bands and events in the J-Rock industry in recent memory, as well as discuss how everyone feels about the current state of the music in J-Rock.
If you have any J-Rock artists or releases you'd like us to cover on this stream, tweet them to either VKH Press (@VKH_Official), Jeff (@TheOnlyRealJeff), or Winona (@TheRealWinona)! As always, send us questions and comments in chat while we're live and we'll read them on air! (Note: we will also be discussing visual kei in a small segment, since it is included under the umbrella of J-Rock.)
In case you missed it, VKH Press now has an official YouTube channel! You can check it out by clicking here. We will be uploading a lot of interesting content in the future, so make sure you subscribe! For now, we are uploading episodes of our podcast VKH Breakdown with improved audio and a visualizer of the episode's topics list (it's also currently available on Soundcloud, click here to listen!).
We also do live streams every Saturday evening at 8:00 PM EST/5:00 PM PST on our YouTube channel. Make sure you join us to talk all things J-Rock and visual kei. We will be reading your comments in the chat, so feel free to ask us questions, give your thoughts on artists and events in the industry, or anything else you feel like saying! There will also be bonus streams at other times throughout the week. The exact time of these bonus streams will vary from week to week, so make sure you follow us on Facebook (click here!) and Twitter (click here!) so you know what time to tune in!
