LIVE REPORT: Presenting LM.C's First American Performance in Five Years! And a Taiwan Show in the Fall!

LM.C appeared as a guest at AnimeFest 2017, an anime convention in Dallas, TX, USA held over four days beginning on August 17th. It's been five years since LM.C last performed in America in 2012 as a guest of an anime event in Chicago.

Before the show, many fans were lining up outside The Majestic Theater, the venue in which the concert was held.  Not only fans from all over America, people made the trip from Canada as well to see LM.C's first live performance stateside in five years.

When the background music played and LM.C came on stage, the packed audience was swept up in a frenzy of cheering.

The concert began with the song "The BUDDHA" from LM.C's newest album Veda. With a mix of new songs and old standards, the set list appealed to each and every fan.

During 88, Maya asked the audience if they could sing the song, and that gave birth to a moving scene of Maya singing 88 together with the fans.

When the last number "星の在処 - Hoshi no Arika-" ended and LM.C left the stage, the audience erupted in a passionate chant of "LM.C! LM.C!"  When the band took the stage again, they played "☆Rock the LM.C☆", "BOYS & GIRLS", and "PUNKY ♥ HEART" one after another.

LM.C has many successful overseas performances under their belt, but this time, they gave an incredible performance from beginning to end worthy of their talent.  The curtain closed while the audience was still going wild.

After this, LM.C will be holding a tour within Japan that starts In September and ends in October. The final stop of the tour is scheduled for October 28th in Taiwan/Kaohsiung. Tickets for this show are already sold out.
