BatAAr from Sweden have been chosen to be the first band ever composing a song for Tekken!
Tekken 7: Fated Retribution is the title of the new game which will be released this summer on Playstation 4.
It all started when guitarist Patrik (who is a big fan of the franchise) published a tweet to the series' producer Katsuhiro Harada. Latter became a fan of the metal band's music immediately and they were then chosen to create a song representing the Swedish-Japanese character Lars Alexandersson who plays a central role in Tekken 7’s story.
The lyrics of the song entitled VREDE will be symbolizing the character's personality and it will also be partially sung in Swedish which is rare for BatAAr.
On May 21st the single, as well as the official Tekken 7 soundtrack, will be released. Moreover, the band is going to record a music video for the song too, so look forward to it!
