Lantis Records Announces Anisong World Tour Lantis Festival Line-Up



Lantis Records recently announced their line-up for the 2015 Lantis Festival in Las Vegas, Nevada! For those of you who may not know, the Lantis Festival began in September of 2014 in Tokyo. The music festival took place over the course of three days and brought an impressive 28,000 fans. Six other shows were held in three other Japanese cities in September as well and were about as successful as the there-day Tokyo stint. The festival's sponsor, Lantis Records, is the record company which proudly boasts the largest anime musician roster around. These concerts are being used to mark it's 15 year anniversary. The concerts to be held in Las Vegas, NV will take place on Friday, January 16th and Saturday, January 17th 2015.

The recently-announced line-up includes all "anisong" artists, or artists who have their claim-to-fame by making songs specifically for popular anime series. These artists are:

  • Sayaka Sasaki (Cardfight!! Vanguard)
  • Faylan (Tokyo ESP)
  • Choucho (Girls und Panzer)
  • Yoko Ishida (Sailor Moon R)
  • bamboo (milktub, Baka and Test)
  • Yousei Teikoku (Future Diary)
Also, very special solo performances from the members of JAM Project (Yu-Gi-Oh Duel Monsters GX): Hironobu Kageyama, Masami Okui, Yoshiki Fukuyama on Friday the 16th and Masaaki Endoh and Hiroshi Kitadani on Saturday the 17th. 

This set of concerts marks the first in an Anisong World Tour that will hit an additional five cities including Hong Kong, Singapore, Taipei, and Seoul. The Las Vegas show being most of these artists' first performance in the United States. 

VIP Tickets are limited, so order them quickly! They run about $125 and include a VIP Pass, early entry to the shows, 'Lucky Bags', and a high-touch session with artists after the show. Otherwise, advance tickets cost $50. 

The show itself runs approximately three hours from 7-10 pm on Friday and 2-5 pm on Saturday and takes place at The Joint - Hard Rock Hotel and Casino.
