v[NEU] to disband

Sad news for fans of v[NEU]! After five years together, the band has decided to part ways. Today on their web site they made the announcement that following their final show for their 5th anniversary tour on December 29th of this year, they will disband. The official statement reads:

ν[NEU] will, after our performance at Shibuya Public Hall on December 29th, 2014, will dissolve.
To everyone who has been involved with us, all the v[NEU] freaks, everyone who has cheered us on, we thank you sincerely.
We know there's not a lot of time left, but we'll continue to work and go full force, and we thank you for your continued support and encouragement until the very end.

Unfortunately,  this is the only information released regarding their disbandment as none of the members have given their own statements yet. Their final show, titled "END ROLL," starts at 6:00pm on December 29th, at Shibuya Public Hall. Tickets are 5000yen and each attendee will receive a free CD single titled "END ROLL." Tickets went on sale October 5th, and are still available through GetTicket and ePlus. Please check back for further information as this develops!
