Alice Nine to leave PS COMPANY after 10th anniversary live

Alice Nine are about to embark on a big journey--they will be officially leaving their management company of ten years, PS COMPANY, on August 25th, 2014.

According to an official statement on their web site, the band and PSC will go their separate ways just two days after their 10th anniversary concert at FujiQ Conifer Forest on August 23rd.

Their final release under PSC management will be Alice Nine TOUR 2014 "Supernova Symphonia" ASIA TOUR DOCUMENTARY & LIVE DVD Resolution-ALICE IN ASIA-, and will be released on October 29th. Their fan club, clubALICE, will close in November.

In addition to the statements posted on their web site, several band members made the rounds on twitter and their official blogs, to clear up any possible confusion and clarify what was happening.

Bassist Saga reassured fans on his blog that they were not disbanding:

We've made it these ten years; and undeniably we had our struggles with the company's president and staff. The choice to leave was not a simple one. We as a band wanted to get back to basics in the truest sense, to what Alice Nine really is.There is no security as a band; we chose to walk this difficult road. And with our ten year milestone coming up, that became the drive we needed to do this.
He went on to state that they will be on a small hiatus for awhile, but couldn't give an exact date of their 'return.'

Alice Nine's vocalist, Shou, posted on twitter that the band is closer than ever, and they will perform at FujiQ with a smile:

I'm sure you're all worrying, but I can affirm that our bonds as a band are stronger than they've ever been in these past 10 years, as well as our bonds with everyone who has supported us. I feel that taking this step, starting over from scratch and going back to basics is perfect for our 10th anniversary.
The band's 10th anniversary live, NEVER ENDING UNIVERSE, starts at 5:00PM this coming Saturday. Stay tuned to VKH for more information!
