Members of LUNA SEA, SPEED-iD, THE SOUND BEE HD and more to perform at Hope & Live HIV/AIDS Benefit Concert

The Hope & Live concert series just announced a Special Act for November, on top of their upcoming Second Act going on this August. Lead singer of LUNA SEA, Ryuichi Kawamura, Tsutomu Ishizuki (FANATIC CRISIS vocalist), and Közi (formerly of MALICE MIZER), will all be taking part in the two-day event.

Hope & Live started in 2013, shortly after HAL (drummer for SPEED-iD) announced that he was HIV positive. In August of that year, HAL along with AIDS organization JoinLIFE, put on a 3-day charity concert series at CLUB CITTA, featuring some of the biggest names in visual kei and rock, to raise money and awareness about HIV/AIDS. Now in its second year, Hope & Live has expanded to include several concerts over the course of the year.

August's Second Act, which takes place on the 9th at BIRTH SHINJUKU, features W.A.R.P, THE HAKKIN, and SPEED-iD. Tickets are 3,000 yen in advance and 3,500 yen at the door.
