Japan Expo seems to be a real treat this year as their guest list, alone, kind of takes you off-guard. This go-round, KAMIJO, LOKA, NoGoD, YOSHIKI and WagakkiBand are all attending (alongside a number of other musical guests - man is that a mouthful!)
NoGoD seem determined to perform in Europe! Despite having cancelled their European tour, they will be at this year's Japan Expo in Paris as musical guests, alongside YOSHIKI (who is a returning performer). They're scheduled for a performance and a showcase on two different dates: July 5th and 6th. If you can't see them one day, you can see them the other - or better yet, see them twice!
KAMIJO, who already has a solo live in Paris and a special after party, will be booking his whole week, it seems, as he is welcomed with a signing session on July 3rd. His only performance in France will be his 0th Live, as we reported.
LOKA, being in the middle of their second European tour, will make a stop at the con as well! Although we don't quite know when they'll be performing just yet, we're sure that these guys will deliver an explosive show!
WagakkiBand, a highly impressive, new group that caught our attention along with hundreds of thousands, will be making their European debut. Bringing together an unusual fusion of traditional instruments and rock, they create a whole other world for us to listen in on.
Last, but not least, the great visual kei pioneer and icon YOSHIKI will be returning to the convention, scheduled to participate in a showcase, a photo-shoot and a concert. If you didn't catch him during his YOSHIKI Classical World Tour during his European leg, maybe you can this time! (And if you already did, you should see him again!)
