Today there is some very sad news from the band Moi Dix Mois. The band has announced that on May 19th Guitarist K has passed away.
There are no details on his death released yet, the only information is that K's family contacted the members about his passing. Due to these circumstances Moi Dix Mois will not be performing at duo MUSIC EXCHANGE on May 24th. The band has also not yet revealed anything about their future plans or events that they had scheduled.
Here is the message from the band:
Although this is sudden, we have a sad announcement to make... Today we were contacted by a family member of Moi dix Mois project member K, who informed us that K had passed away while at his home. Although we do not know the circumstances in detail, it is very sudden for all of us. Remaining members and staff alike are doing everything they can right now to try and accept this as reality. Given the situation, we hasten to announce with short notice that our live scheduled to take place at the duo MUSIC EXCHANGE on May 24th will no longer be possible. We apologize to everyone who had been looking forward to the live and respectfully request that they wait for a follow-up announcement on the situation going forward. Please also be informed that based on the wishes of the deceased’s family, both the wake and the funeral and memorial services will be conducted with close family and friends in attendance only. Thank you sincerely for all of your continued kindness and support.
