As most of you have probably heard by now, DIR EN GREY has made some pretty exciting announcements over the post few weeks. In less than a week, their fans were in an uproar over their recently announced Live DVD documentaries, but were more surprised to hear about their upcoming tour entitled PSYCHONNECT -mode of "GAUZE?"-. As the band rounds in on 15 years since their major debut, they will be celebrating it with this tour to touch back on their older work, using set-lists that they haven't used since the very first mode of "GAUZE" tour.
The first of the two DVDs announced was Tour13 Ghoul, a Documentary DVD and Blu-ray that was filmed during their GHOUL tour last year, and will be released on April 23rd. The tour included 15 lives in Japan and 14 lives in America, but the DVD features specific portions of setlsitd from certain shows (More information can be found below). Following this was DUM SPIRO SPERO AT NIPPON BUDOKAN, which will be released in July, and will also be available in Blu-ray.
