Some sad news for fans of older visual kei. Guitarist PIE has passed away due to lung cancer. Back in May he was hospitalized to work on recovering, but unfortunately lost his battle with the disease and passed away on December 28, 2013 at the age of 46. There was a vigil held on December 30th, and his funeral will take place on December 31st at 1100 at a ceremonial hall in Osaka. A special website has been set up for the service HERE. Our thoughts go out to the family and friends of PIE, as well as his fans.
