Noiz - GAnime Concert Review

Noiz performed in Canada! The band descended from space (according to Angel-TAKA) to visit GAnime in Gatineau, Quebec, on January 25th. As the lights turned off, the excited fans anxiously waited for them to come on stage. Small in number but burning, the fans gave them a warm welcome on this very cold winter night. With intro music and great cheers, the band members took the stage, introducing themselves with their entrance routine.

They went right into their first song Minority Blue Sky from their latest album Meteors. The song that followed was High Five. Taking a break, Angel-TAKA did a short MC.

"We have come all the way from outer space to bring peace to the planet Earth.
Today we land in Canada, Quebec. We show you what we are Usuuch Sendai Noiz!"

After riling up the crowd, Angel-TAKA tried his hand at speaking French. He managed to say a few sentences with the help of his iPhone. He asked his fans if they knew Japanese and English languages. He said that he only knows a little bit of English and even less French, but he does know the words "Je t'aime".To the satisfaction of the fangirls ' hearts.

After Cry, Angel-TAKA, MASATO and KYO left the stage, leaving YAMATO and KOTARO to perform. The duo went right into Supika, showing off their guitar and drumming talents. The other members were soon to return when the song ended. Angel-TAKA asked everyone if they were ready and they were! They didn't need any more encouraging!

Angel-TAKA's second MC started by trying to speak in French, which lasted only for a few sentences. There was also some fan service. Each band member introduced themselves in French:  'Je m'appelle ....' The guys were full of energy until the end of the concert, you could tell everyone was having a good time both fans and the band. Angel-TAKA was very interactive and playful with the fans. A very fun MC.

Thank You for the Music was the last song. Before exiting the stage, they performed a closing routine. It was quite different and really cool but what would a concert be without an Encore!

The concert was a lot of fun. You could definitively tell, between the hyper fans and the energetic artists, heat was exchanged. One of the best concerts I have been to!
