A lot of news regarding Lin has been going around, and it hasn't exactly been the best of it either. Before their hiatus, the band is already experiencing a lot of troubles.
First off, their guitarist Mizuki left with out any explanation. According to KISAKI's blog, he emailed him announcing his sudden decision to leave the band, without stating a reason why. There was no further contact from him after that since refusing to reply to emails or answer calls from the other members and staff. The band has decided not to cancel their last live on June 30th, despite previously planning to have all five members present. They have decided not to cancel their upcoming lives, but there are some in the future that may still be cancelled.
Secondly, their other guitarist, KANATA, was hospitalized due to an acute pneumonia. He had complained previously of some pains in his chest and was diagnosed with acute pneumonia after visiting the hospital. Unfortunately, he, too, won't be able to attend upcoming lives and in store events.
It seems Lin is really out of luck so soon into the new year.

I was surprised by mizuki's departure because it makes me wonder if something happened between him and the band. I hope kanata recovers soon, a lot of members in the vk scene are getting sick.

Yeah, me too. And it's true, it looks like the vk scene is just as affected by illness as the rest of the world >_< (seriously, I know a lot of people who have gotten sick this winter)
ReplyDeleteMizuki could have left the band for any number of reasons! He could have simply felt too stressed being in the band (cuz... Kisaki....) or have family issues, etc. It would have helped if he said at least a bit of the reason, but it's his choice, y'know?
Yea I get ya. I hope Mizuki returns someday though.
