REVIEW: UNDIVIDE - UNDIVIDE

It's here, it's available on iTunes and it's rocking like a double-barrelled Deluhi. UNDIVIDE's debut album packs a punch and reminds us of one of the most influential Visual Kei acts of the past decade. Sujk and Leda bring the spirit of heavy, loud VKei alive along with vocalist Kihiro.

Track list
1. 400 Days
2. The Catalyst
3. Minds Up
4. Nemesis
5. Fireball
6. Bleed the Truth
7. Skin
8. Jekill & Hyde
9. 13 Am
10. Ahead

Thrusting themselves back into the scene, the band delivers an aggressive, powerful sound with a fresh revival of what many fans love about Visual Kei. Sujk and Leda bring their signature drumming and guitar skills, respectively, with harsh growls and clean singing from Kihiro (LOKA/ ex. Supe).

The album feels slightly west-influenced in a good way, taking the best things and adding a great twist on the paradigm. This release will satiate any need for a veteran Deluhi fan as well as those into the heavier side of the VK scene.

The raw, English lyrics make the music accessible to crowds the world over whilst the pumping drums keep that metal feeling alive. Occasional Leda solo's bring back fond memories and evoke those feelings of Visual Kei's heyday last decade.

The tracks sometimes also feature a more electronic sound to accompany the instruments, adding variety and a new direction for the artists. They do, however, always stick to a heavy, metal sound as attributed to them from their past works.

I've been very impressed with this release from the band and their future appears as bright as possible, so look forward to hearing more from them in the future.

This album is available to purchase on iTunes as well as CDJapan so please support the artist and purchase their music.
