REVIEW: Broken Doll - "Reach For The Sky" PV

It has been about a month since VKH has introduced Broken Doll and their full album “Reach For The Sky”. Now earlier this month they have just come out with a PV for their first song from the album called “Reach For The Sky.”
The song has one of those few chord changes, with repetitive strumming, and the vocals are the main thing you listen to. None of these chords sound dark in the slightest, which means they are all major chords giving the song it’s happy poppy tone. So I’m putting this song under the category of pop punk. I could picture this song playing for a scene in a drama or movie montage. The song is a very happy party song. I’m not completely sure what I like about this song, but from the first time I heard it, it was instantly catchy. The band’s sound is a pretty mainstream sound. So for those that enjoy the lighter side of visual kei, this band would be a good song for you, not to head bang to, but to move and bob your head to the beat and jump around.
The PV isn’t a theatrical one. This was a party PV! Throughout the video, it shows nothing but the band playing and a few random party moments, where people are dancing with balloons and just having a good time. The band’s outfits are insane! Bright colors everywhere, along with smiles and laughing, and just rocking out to a good song you can happily bounce around the house to. This is probably one of those songs that can get you up when you’re feeling down, just to put a smile on your face.
Hope you all enjoy this pick up song!
