Transform yourself
Observe, evaluate, and take your time, before rushing to get a new wardrobe and transform yourself from head to toe. Study your favorite bands, their style, the materials and fabrics they use. If you wish, you can actually skip this step, simply because this step became my job in Visual Kei Heaven and therefore I can help you.
No Jrockers want to be treated as an emo or a clone of the Tokyo Hotel singer. To my humble opinion, the moderate ranking artists in the world of
visual kei are most of the time the major bands like the Gazette, Gackt or Rentrer en Soi. ( We all agree that those artists were very visual at a some point in time ).
Haircut
To get great hair and a style similar to the above mentioned band members, you need the right length. This is true especially for men. Nothing stops you, except for looking like Shizumi, drummer of Kagerou, with a very simple and basic style. To succeed, make sure you have a fringe: It is necessary to have a rather short length of hair on the top of your head to manipulate hair easily ( another possibility is long in the front and short on the top ).
Curly hair will probably need to be straightened chemically. It needs to be very smooth and needs peaks in the end of the shortest drills to create the stylistic duality we look for, to break the dullness and to be unique. To create these peaks, a solution: take your locks ( the short ones ) brush them up and down in quick strokes and add some spray. Repeat the operation twice or more, according to taste. Finally create the volume and a touch of disorder. Some also use some wax to help their hair going upward.
Jewelery
Accessories and jeweleries, such as rings, bracelets, piercings, or even wallet chains attached to your wardrobe will enhance your look without any doubt. Warnings
Your metamorphosis will not happen overnight ! Take your time and proceed gradually. People around you will soon get used to the new "you". Be unique You will soon own your new style which is not always easy for young adults. Never forget to look real !
Last but not least, being sharp and unique go in pair. Be gentle in your modifications but remember that you have to be hard-hitting!
