Sadly, Dir en grey have decided to cancel all American tour dates due to vocalist Kyo being diagnosed with Vocal Nodule Dysphonia.
Although the condition of his throat is not very severe Kyo has been advised not to use his voice excessively and may need surgery. The members of the band have decided it would be best to let Kyo rest and so they will momentarily stop activities until further notice.

This is the first I have heard of this. I am sad that the American tour has been cancelled. However I am even more upset and worried about Kyo and how he is doing. His vocal range is amazing I'll give him that, but its the wear and tear on his vocal cords that it comes down to in the end. He is one of my favorite J-Rock singers and I would hate for him to damage his vocal cords permanently. That would make me cry. His voice is beautiful and what I love about it is that when you listen to any of Dir en grey's songs you can hear the emotion in Kyo's voice when he sings. Depending on the song it sometimes makes me cry. But I just hope that he gets feeling better and that the other band members aren't too bored. Please get well soon Kyo so you can come to America :)
