Where one should go shopping for oshare kei clothing and what to look for.

Okay, when you go shopping for oshare kei clothing, you must change your perspective on clothing,. do not limit yourself to just clothes. This is one reason i love oshare kei, when you go shopping, look in the men's section, in the girls section, and even the babies section.

"What am I looking for?" - When shopping, you want to look for...

Patterns - Patterns are a must. Do not pick something that has too much pattern, something that has a simple pattern will do perfect, such as animal print, shapes, dots, things like that. Please do not buy something that has all these patterns into one! That is a big no no, for you are layering the simple patterns onto another simple pattern, creating a mixture of patterns. (tip: Graffiti is a great pattern to use.)

Over sized shirts - Buy oversized shirts that have simple pattern, big words, or one simple image on the front. The oversized shirt should come down to about your knees the longest, no longer than that.

Short shorts (Booty shorts) - once again, pattern or nicely detailed. For men, the shortest one will be comfortable with is a little bit above the knee.

Jackets - Jackets, oversized or fitting, patterns, Mini Jackets, or a simple solid color, but the color must be colorful and bright. Such as pink or blue, any bright color, do not use neon! Neon is a no. But my favoite color jacket, is a chrome jacket, chrome goes great with colors, specially pink.

Socks, Leggings, Tights - With these, once again, colorful or pattern, thigh high sock or mid calve.

Pants - Harlem Pants are hard to come buy but it is a must buy if you come across one, aside from that, buy solid color jeans, never buy plain blue pants. Always fitting.

Shirts - something well designed or a lot of pattern, with shirts, one can buy an over pattern shirt. Usually you should look for shirts with BIG words.

"Where can i get these clothes?" - GoodWill, Thrift stores, Flea markets, Dollar stores, do not be discouraged by these stores, these are the perfect stores to get such items, its amazing because you'll never know what you'll find and you can bet your bottom dollar that its all cheap!
