What is oshare kei?
For those who do not know, Oshare kei, is a style of dressing, "Fashion". It is a mixture of Decora, lolita, visual kei and casual kei, along with alot of other styles. It is often used in some Japanese rock bands, to express their music. Oshare kei consists of layers, patterns and tons of color. The bands lyrics are often about the positive side of things. So they use their look to express such lyrics. It is unknown as to where the style originated from but all we know is that it is here now and it is here to stay. Since more and more bands are rocking the oshare kei look, it has become very popular with the "outside" world. More and more people are dressing in oshare. Unfortunalty it is a stlye that is considered more for women even though it strated off with men. But never the less, many people need assistance with dressing oshare kei, for their is no magazine nor is their a place you can go to get such information (and if their is please let me know) so that is what I am here for! I am here to teach you all that I know!
