Amai Furiku?

Here we have Zoro's new look- much less eccentric, and much more co-ordinated. I love the simplicity of the style, plus those jackets look wonderful~
To imitate this style, go with a simple hair cut with clean, straight cut edges. Team with dark, or monochrome outfits, such as scoop neck t-shirts with interesting designs (a good place to look for these would be vintage and thrift stores!) as well as decent skinny jeans, with a few rips here and there!
Denim features heavily in this look, and the best places for denim are vintage stores! You can also find relatively cheap denim jeans and jackets in normal highstreet stores that you can customise for yourself- try adding patches of different coloured denims, and fray edges.
Leather jackets are usually quite expensive, but many stores sell good quality faux leather jackets; it's worth shopping around. The boys in SCREW all have very well kept hair, and for this almost handsome biker boy style, you need to make sure that your hair is looking perfect! Invest in some good straighteners and a midprice hairspray for a good hold.
Head down to your local army surplus for cheap and super comfy camo jackets and trousers. Team with leather gloves and exciting arm accessories, along with oversized scarves, and big comfy boots, for a comfy yet striking look.

...and see Kenji! The boys definitely work this almost K-Pop esque style, of plain, but smart suits. This look is probably the easiest to achieve, but to tone it down for a more day to day look, I would definitely go for black kick flare jeans instead of suit trousers. A suit and tie will always look good on a man, and it can look really sexy on women too. Again, this sort of look requires something very interesting, but sleek, and perfect to be done with the hair. Try straightening and flicking the ends out, or maybe try adding in a few tribal braids to spice it up!
With this sort of look, you can take elements from most of the above band's styles, and darken them down a little, for an almost gothic look. Tough materials such as leather and heavy denim, as well as thick knit wool will help your look come together.

We have just started a new year, and turned over a new leaf! But I wanted to look back this month, across 2011, and pick out some of my favourite new looks from some great bands~
We all change styles, and in as short a time as a year, people can change a lot! This was me around the beginning of 2011....

And the following photos are all from the end of 2011!

It might not necessarilly seem like a massive change, but for one thing, I said I'd never have pink hair! However, after much debate, and many internal battles, I decided I'd take a leap into the unknown...mostly influenced by my favourite model and Japanese singer, Neeko, I went with a bright vibrant pink. As time went on, I have adapted my own makeup to look similar to hers, and I'm loving it! I adore dressing up and creating something new with my look, and this year, I feel as though I've made progress with my personal style.
And just like you and I, bands sometimes feel the need to change their style up a little bit too! Whether told to by their management, or making the decision for themselves, it's always interesting to see what direction bands will go in next.

SUG's new look was a surprising one for me, as it seems they have also toned down their OTT style a little bit. Takeru still retains a childlike quality with a collar of plushies around his neck, and a heavily patterned jacket. The rest of the band has toned down further with this particular look.

Again, another slightly more toned down look, featuring black leather.

R Shitei are one of the only bands on this list that hasn't gone for a more smart/casual look. This army camo style can be easily achieved by anyone!

L'arc~en~ciel now, and as always, they look great! The Larukku boys are probably the most casual looking out of all the bands listed, but they dress their style up by wearing normal items made of sumptuous fabrics, such as velvet, chiffon, and leather.

This look is harder to achieve, but needs the wearer to be very aware of every detail, You need to find colours that really work well together, such as cream and deep red, chocolate and teal, black and brown. Accessorise an outfit with simple silver jewellery to stand out against dark wash jeans, or darker shirts.
Here we have possible the smartest new look, from Golden Bomber! This look nearly knocked me off my seat, as it makes them look as though they're heading in a more mature direction. But then you scroll down...

Lastly, here we have Deathgaze, sporting a great mixture of smart casual. Satin waistcoats, white shirts, ripped jeans, and leather jackets all combine to create this quite dashing look!

So there you have it, a year of different looks, although I have to say, 2011 was a very samey year for new looks! Here's hoping 2012 has some new and exciting styles for us to play around with! If any of you try any of these styles out, or even cosplay one of the above band members, feel free to email me at missescupcakeface@hotmail.co.uk to be featured in an upcoming article!
Happy New Year everybody!
