At the beginning of the day there was still a bit of hope left since the management didn't confirm it yet... However, most news sites already posted it so it sadly seems to be true...Former X Japan member Taiji (Bassist) passed away on July 17th.

As reported by several japanese news websites, Taiji passed away today.This is seriously a big shock for the whole music world and all X Japan fans...
He had been in the hospital's intensive care station since July 14th after trying to commit suicide, according to some newspapers he was unconscious till then.
Our deepest sympathies to his family and friends.
Even if I try I can't find the right words right now....
Rest in Peace Taiji.
