I guess many J-Rockers thought it's funny fooling their fans. And especially one guy made a lot of effort for a [~pretty lame~] joke. Hibari, vocalist of MiD Deracine (ex. Schmelz Cure) have been pretty creative this day. He posted a link to this Ameba site via Twitter. In the link it sais "schmelzcure2011". Schmelz Cure? They actually disbanded back in 2009. Maybe a revival?... In one of the blog entries it also says "2011.04.02 New Band Schmelz Cure birth". Sounds promising, huh?
Now the sad truth (you probably guessed it anyway): It was only a joke....
Later Hibari posted this blog asking which day's today and linking to the Schmelz Cure 2011 Ameba site...

ugh that would have got me all excited too. because Kouta from SKULL is ex guitarist of Schmelz Cure, and would have been happy to see him returning after SKULL disbands. >.<

ReplyDeleteI wonder how many news sites actually took that seriously? I mean it was posted on April Fools...thats almost as believable as Miyavi tweeting last year that he 'Kissed Gackt' but hey who knows right?
For some reason I'm still keeping an eye on the fake Schmelz Cure site just to see if Hibari is updating it xD But all the effort creating an Ameba site with all the images and stuff only for a joke? wow xD
