Jrock Spotlight #11

Jrock Daily time again ^_^ To be honest it's more like Jrock fortnightly but I'm definitely trying to be more regular in posting. Plus it's quite a fun column to do :)

Band of the Day:

Girugamesh

Girugamesh is one of my personal favorite bands. They have a wide range of sounds in my opinion. To heavy metal sounds to techno-ish pop rock. The vocalist Satoshi has a very rich voice. It stands out especially in ballads. I'd recommend the song "Kowarete Iku Sekai", to anyone who wants to try them out. I'd also recommend their comment and interview videos. The guys are hilarious.

New band of the Day:

Blu-BiLLioN
From what I've heard of this band so far, I really like them. The vocalist has a very pleasant voice and I'm currently addicted to their song "Colours"

Jrocker(s) of the Day:

Juka
Juka is a solo artist who's been a part of many different bands as an official and support member. He was the vocalist of Moi Dix Mois from 2002-2006 and is also a support vocalist for Hizaki Grace Project. Currently he's the vocalist of VII-Sense under the new name Shaura.

Quote of the Day:

Being entrapped everyday by the sweet temptations, drugs, and women I thought it doesn't matterWith some girl I don't know that I met at a club I picked my drug and had ectasy sex
An Cafe -  Escapism

Macro of the Day:

Video of the Day:

I LOVE ART-SCHOOL. They have songs that are always catchy regardless. The vocalist has an unpolished voice that somehow suits the nature of the songs very well. ART-SCHOOL tends to do more general rock/pop-rock songs and I find them very enjoyable.

Hope you guys enjoyed this. Remember if you have any questions, just ask (^_^)
