Time for another round of Jrock Dailies! I hope you guys don't mind my mini bouts of rambling this time (^_^). If you have any questions or comments about the bands mentioned feel free to comment.
Band of the Day:

New band of the day:
This is not so much a band as it is a unit. Mentioned previously in this entry, Aoi from Ayabie and Ryohei of MEGAMASO (who used to be a member of Ayabie) formed this unit in December 2010. Aoi has a really soothing voice and Ryohei is a great composer. You can check out the PV for their song "Monochrome".

Jrocker(s) of the day:
Kanon is the bassist from the Oshare kei band An Cafe (now on hiatus). Currently he's created a game for smartphones called "Pinky☆Distortion". The graphics are really cute and it's about a Jrock band starting out in Harajuku and it's available in English for iphones now. Check out the site here.

Quote of the day:
Cubic「L/R」ock - AyabieBeing nothing There's nothing I could lose To me There's nothing I couldn't catch hold of
Just like this left hand which can find out anything even if it was lost
Seems like I'm in an Ayabie mood today. This is one of their older songs while Aoi was still the vocalist of the group. This is from one of my favorite songs by them. It has an upbeat feel with very melancholy lyrics. I especially loved that line.
Macro of the day:
Song of the day:
I love the use of the violin in this song, it gives it a very whimsical feeling (^_^)
This is one of my favorite songs by hide (who used to be the guitarist of X JAPAN). It's a very fun PV which always makes me smile watching everyone get up to crazy antics. Hope you enjoy~
Aww you have to love SuG :)
ReplyDeleteI didn't know An Cafe was on hiatus~sort of stopped following their music after Bou left
OMFG WHERE IS THAT GIRUGAMESH MACRO FROM.
Must.Find.On.Youtube
Yeah SuG is my happy band ^^
ReplyDeleteYup they're on hiatus but it feels more like a disbandment cause Miku's already in a new band ><
