They will perform their new song "Born to be Free" which they had recently shot a PV for in L.A. featuring a cameo appearance by Stan Lee of Marvel Comic fame.
YOSHIKI made donations to the GRAMMY Foundation, St. Vincent Meals on Wheels and Make-A-Wish of America during the launch party of his "YOSHIKI FOUNDATION AMERICA" on July 1st in Los Angeles.
The next day, YOSHIKI and Toshi travelled to Paris where they held a singing event at the record store FNAC, located on the Champs-Élysées to a large fan turnout.
YOSHIKI and Toshi held an acoustic live event on July 4th at the JAPAN EXPO where Toshi performed a portion of ENDLESS RAIN in French as YOSHIKI greeted people in French. The fan turnout of about 8,000 people set a new JAPAN EXPO record.
YOSHIKI and TOSHI then flew Japan on July 7 and 8 to work on X JAPAN's new album. YOSHIKI also took the time to visit the grave of former band-member and friend hide.
YOSHIKI and SUGIZO will be going to Washington at the end of the month to appear the Otaku Convention on July 31 as well as an appearance at Lollapalooza on August 8 for their US debut.
