Hello again dear readers! I am here with another exciting issue of the Fashion Insider!



Today we will be going over how to get that coveted Visual Kai spiked eyebrow look without completely waxing or shaving away your eyebrows! So all the fun without all the commitment! This is a simple and sweet method to cover your eye brows with a list everyone at home should have or could easily get! None of those fancy pants expensive costume makeup sets like spirit gum.



All your going to need is:

-One glue stick

-Butter Knife

-A mirror

-A blow-dryer

-Liquid foundation/Concealer

-Powder foundation

-Any kind of eyeliner/brow pencil

-Eye shadow that matches the pencil above



Okay! Now that you have everything your going to need all lined up we are going to go through this step by step taking it one eyebrow at a time. So just follow me!



Step one: Make sure your face is cleaned with no makeup. Uncap your glue stick and start to go over your eye brow with it. Make sure you work it all into the hair to it is completely coated. Work it in different directions then smooth it back down. It will seem clumpy but just keep smoothing it out with your fingertips. If you get some on your eyelid just gently rub it off. Don’t worry, the glue stick is water soluble so it will come off.



Step two: Now that you have the first layer of glue on your eyebrow, take your butter knife and scrape just the top layer of the glue stick onto the knife. Very very carefully start to smear it over the top layer. I do not want anyone to lose an eye so be very careful with that knife. So make sure that you get that layer nice and thick, then smooth it out before we advance to step three.



Step three: Since you have gotten your eyebrow nice and covered with the glue stick, we have two options, either

a) you can sit and wait for it to dry

or

b) you can blow dry the heck out of it

I chose option b for this guide. So get your hair dryer out and hit that glue with the cold shot from the hair dryer to help it dry faster. I say use the cool setting since I don’t want anyone to burn themselves with all that hot air.



Step four: With the glue dried it is now time to cover it! Go over the glue with your liquid makeup, it will need a heavy layer. Make sure to blend the makeup into the skin around it. Once you have it good and covered with the liquid makeup, very gently go over it with the powder makeup. The powder will set the liquid foundation, but if applied with too much force it will just smear the base layer.



Step Five: Take your eye brow pencil or liquid liner and draw on the shape of the eyebrow you want. If you like the sharper line of the line at this stage then you don’t have to continue on.



Step six: For those of you who wanted to soften the line a bit, welcome to step six. Here you will take your eye shadow and gently brush a bit over the brow you just drew to soften the edges just a bit. Make sure you don’t put too much on or it will become too thick and look funny.



Yay! Now you have your very own, temporary Visual Kei eyebrows! Take some pictures and send them on in so I can see all your hard work at completion! Also if anyone has any questions or requests feel free to leave them in the comment section!
